Mummy’s Tummy – 10 Ways To Have Less Jelly In Your Belly

img_7698
I’m being rather brave in posting pictures of my post baby tummy so please be kind to me. I’m still about 6lbs away from my target weight and due to holidays & a very unsettled baby I had a 3-week break from the gym & God have I missed it !!!!! I use the gym as my ‘ happy place ‘, away from kids, husbands & the odd hunky bodybuilder to perv on never hurts 👍  I’m not sporty but enjoy running and most of the time I can be found on the Stair Master stepping away while watching YouTube videos. Since having Charley in September I have lost 2.4 stone.I lost the weight the old-fashioned way by still eating /drinking what I wanted but just in smaller portions and basically getting off my bum and moving. Below are 10 ways I used to loose a bit of jelly…

I hope you enjoyed today’s blog and it’s given you some ideas & motivation.Never feel rushed to start exercising and listen to your body. I know how hard it is to make the 1st move back into exercising but as a very wise man ( must have been women really )  ” The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step “.

I think the at home work out has worked the best for me! When I first started having kids would be trying to climb over and under me as I tried to do Pilates and whatnot. But I have moved on to doing more aerobics and now that that are toddlers, they join right in and have fun trying to do it with me or my husband. And turning on fun music makes it a dance party!

  2. Wow great ideas, I might do the home exercises using apps and youtube workout videos #thelist

  3. Im still struggle with 6kg but I 5 days ago started detox diet that’s good idea as well if you want to loose some weight and feel better

  4. This is great – thank you! I definitely found Buggyfit a great great help as I couldn’t do much exercise for months after a tricky labour. After an op to sort things out, I’m now 4 weeks into the couch to 5k programme and it’s ace! I’m sure lots of people will find this useful – exercise is a great way to a healthy mind and I love anything like this that promotes easy ways to fit this into your mum routine. x #fortheloveofBLOG

  5. Well done you have achieved so much. Like you I am on a constant mission to move the jelly belly and apart from trying to hit 10K steps per day and doing Pilates, I love to use a hula hoop for 15 mins a day at home to really blast my abs. It’s fun and you can do it whilst watching TV or waiting for the kids supper to cook. #fortheloveofBLOG

  6. I downloaded the couch to 5k app a couple of days ago (feeling inspired by the olympics) and I’m feeling a bit sceptical about whether it can work at the moment as I’ve always been a hater of running. It’s inspiring to read that you’re now running 8 miles after giving it a go, I just hope I can get somewhere close to that too 🙂

I was a hater of running and really have to force myself to put my running shoes on but once I start off I love it. I will coach you on running if you coach me with cooking as I hate going anywhere near the oven 😂😂😂
