Welcome back to week 2 of #PostsFromTheHeart and thank you to everyone who linked up with us. Both Victoria & I were shocked and delighted to have 62 posts linked up in our first week. It’s been a very hard decision to pick my 3 favourite posts from week 1 as the calibre of writing has been so high.I have gone with my heart and picked the 3 that struck a cord with me. In no particular order I introduce –
A very sensitive subject written so beautifully. I personally don’t have any experience of sharing my children with an ex-partner but I can tell you it would break my heart. Roxanne is so positive in a situation that would floor most of us and shows that you can find happiness the 2nd time around.
I am not going to lie, by the time I had finished reading Natalie’s post I was a ball of snot & tears. I lost my Granny 15 years ago to a short illness and it was the single saddest day of my life. Natalie’s childhood with her Granny sounded very similar to mine and it brought back some lovely memories for me.What a great Granny you had Natalie.
And last but not least …………
I found Michelle’s post both brave and empowering. To be so honest about her struggles with postnatal depression & anxiety and to push herself to reach some challenging goals during 2017 it inspired me to pull myself out of my post-Christmas black mood and set myself some personal goals.Michelle, I hope you get you much deserved a weekend away with your hubby.
I hope you have enjoyed reading my 3 favourites from last week and remember to choose your favourite and give it some extra special blogging love with a nice comment on their page.
