The sun hasn’t been shining for quite a while now but that hasn’t stopped us bloggers joining in the fun and participating in the Sunshine Blogger Quiz. I love finding out about the Blogger behind the blog and now it’s my turn to reveal my secrets. Thanks to the fab Sarah from Boo Roo and Tigger Too  for tagging me in her post.

The 10 Questions Sarah asked me where …………

  1. What did you want to be when you grew up?

I always thought I would be a drama teacher as I am trained with LAMDA and did a BTEC in Performing Arts but when it came to go off and do my teacher training I decided I had enough of education and decided to have a gap year that ended up being a 17 year gap year.

  2. How did you meet your partner?

I met Lee when I was tempting at the Civil Service in Blackpool 15 years ago.I fell instantly in love with him and we were living together within weeks. 15 years together, 10 years of marriage & 2 kids later we are still going strong.

  3. What scares you the most?

Doing nothing. Truthfully I am not very good at resting or switching off. I don’t like sitting and doing nothing, the thought of it scares me. I need to be constantly moving from one project to another.

  4. What is your must eat comfort food?

Chips & gravy is my No1 comfort food with thick slices of buttered white bread to make chip butty’s with. This also needs to be served with a bucket size cup of tea.

  5. When enjoying a cream scone, do you put jam or cream first?

Jam !! What sort of person puts the cream on first ??

  6. What would you most like to receive as a gift for your birthday?

Well I have just had my Birthday and I got my favourite present which was to be wined & dined by my wonderful hubby.I think we have 6 courses, 2 bottles of wine and several cocktails. My head was sore the next day but it was well worth it.

  7. Are you a stationery lover or a technology fan?

I do like technology but i am always the last one to upgrade anything. I think I had the iPhone 2 for about 5 years. I love notebooks and much prefer to write on paper rather than take notes on a computer. It’s like I could never have a kindle, I love the feel of a book in my hand and the smell of the pages.

  8. What’s your favourite childhood memory?

Going abroad for the 1st time to Greece when I was about 9. We did every organised trip you could think of from the authentic Greek night to the island hopping boat tour. I think that holiday made me want to travel the world and see as much of it as I could.

  9. If you had an extra hour each day, what would you do with it?

Blog. I have to fit my blogging in between my day job, being a mummy & running the house. So wheneverIget a spare moment I open my laptop and get writing new blogs or update my social media accounts.

  10. What film can you watch time and time again and never get sick of it?

A bit of a random one but Miss Potter. I love anything Beatrix Potter and the combination of Ewan Mcgregor & Renée Zellweger together makes it effortless watching. It’s the type of film you can watch with the  kids on a Sunday afternoon curled up under a blanket.
