Teddy coats are back again for another Autumn / Winter season. Everyone from Max Mara to Primark has their racks full of them in every length and colour. They are the perfect coat for keeping you warm in the early autumn breeze and can be layered over a leather jacket or blazer in Winter. I have chosen my top 5 Teddy Coats from the high street, all under £100 to share with you today.
This is the 2nd year that Primark has produced this Teddy Coat and after missing out last year I snapped it up quickly. Not as thick and heavy as alternatives, this is perfect for the early Autumn months and I will layer once we get into the cold blasts of November. The muted oatmeal colour looks great with blue denim and gives an autumnal pop of colour to an all-black outfit.
The picture doesn’t give this Teddy Coat justice. It’s a beautiful rust colour and cut with a slight A-line. Thicker and heavier than the Primark version this coat could easily be worn with only a T-shirt under it during the winter months. It comes in a selection of colours but rust is my favourite and makes the coat look more expensive than it’s £37.49 price tag.
This beautiful oversized Teddy Coat is the perfect Autumn/Winter coat for nights out. The off white colour, sleek shape and just above the knee length would look very chic when paired with long boots and a dress. A medium thickness this would make the perfect coat to put over your Christmas Party dresses.
A bolder print and longer length, this Teddy Coat will keep you warm and stylish on days out with the family. Pair with black jeans and converse for a relaxed weekend look or throw over your black work suit with the option to add a belt for a more tailored look. This coat is thinner than the others so layering with jumpers and as a 2nd coat over blazers would be the best option in the colder months.
This Teddy Coat will brighten even the dullest of winter days up. Super soft but still thick enough to keep you warm on cold winter mornings. Lengthwise it hits just above the knee with a tailored back split and belt. Winter whites and dark denim would contrast perfectly with the candy pink to give a just off the catwalk look. This coat also looks great with hot pink so for a bold evening look , add a hot pink bag or shoes.
I hope you liked today’s blog post and it has given you a warm and cosy feeling. Let me know your favourite from the above and if you buy one, send me a picture.
