You all know I’m a HUGE fan of Aldi skincare ( see my blog from last year ALDI Skincare Review )
So when they re-launched their Primer range I needed to try them out. I have tested both Primers for the last 3 months, so here’s what I think.
Hope you enjoy watching & comment below if you have tried either of them.

Of the two, this is the one I reach for daily. It gives a lovely matt finish and covers pores to perfection. It gives me a long-lasting base to any BB creams or foundations and is oil-free. As a long term sufferer of acne neither primer broke me out or caused any type of reaction to my skin. The primer glided on easily and I was able to apply my foundation straight away on top. When using the Snapshot Ready Primer I found I also needed less powder making my skin look fresher.

I used the Snapshot Ready Glow Primer mainly at night to make my skin look more luminous. I found applying this and then a low coverage foundation kept the glow visible and dewy. This primer will be perfect for the summer months on its own or mixed with a tinted moisturiser. A small amount goes a long way so a tube of this will last you a good couple of months. Pop a small amount of this on your shoulders or decolletage for an instant shimmer of colour.
Both Primers are dupes for Smashbox which retails at £36 each. Having previously been gifted the Smashbox primers to try, I can hand on heart say ALDI’s versions are every bit as good at a fraction of the cost.
